Last week Credit One Bank, a U.S.-based bank specializing in credit cards, announced a new cash back credit card as a result of their partnership with American Express, one of the largest financial services corporations in the world and the fourth largest card network. The card got an uncomplicated name – the Credit One Bank American Express®. It became the first card issued by Credit One Bank on the American Express network.
Without departing from its principles, Credit One Bank came out with another credit card offering 1% cash back on absolutely all purchases without any specific categories requiring activation. But the main difference from the rest of the bank’s cards is the additional perks from Amex. Let’s see what else potential cardholders can count on:
- $39 annual fee;
- 99% variable APR on purchases;
- Minimum credit line of $300;
- Travel Accident Insurance and Retail Protection;
- Pre-sale ticket access to select concert, theater, and sporting events;
- American Express benefits while dining, entertainment, shopping, and travel;
- Free online access to your Experian credit score;
- Zero fraud liability;
- Customizable account notifications;
- The Credit One Bank mobile app to manage the account.
“The new Credit One Bank American Express Card offers our card members more choice and value while broadening our credit card offerings overall,” said Robert DeJong, chief executive officer, Credit One Bank in a press release. “And, at the same time, we’re offering customers the chance to earn more cash back rewards, on every purchase, wherever they use the card. American Express is a leader in rewards and loyalty, and we are proud to offer our customers a strong product with the security and value of the American Express Network.”
The Credit One Bank American Express® is now available for applying. Similar to other Credit One Bank credit cards, it is supposed to be suitable for applicants with bad to fair credit. Anyway, one can always pre-qualify without having their score affected in order to see whether they can expect to get approved.
