There are more credit card offers coming up

[Thursday, November 4th, 2010]

A lot of credit card companies and top retail chains are enhancing their credit card deals to attract more customers and drawing them into taking on credit card debt. Name any retail chain of your choice and you can almost be sure that you will find a discount deal. Now, out of the recession, almost every retailer has some or the other credit card deal to offer. A good example comes from Target stores which now offer customers a 5% rebate on all purchases made with the REDcard credit and debit accounts that the chain offers. Toys R Us will also add a 10% cash back offer to the loyalty program for all expenses up to 500 dollars. The Chase Freedom cards are offering credit card customers 5% cash back on all the purchases at department stores, movie theaters, and super markets for up to 1500 dollars until the end of the year.

There are some credit card lenders and retail chains which are joining together to offer more rewards according to a report. For example Kroger, the supermarket chain and US Bank came up with a recent announcement to introduce a program for store-branded debit and credit accounts. The credit card customers can earn reward points which can redeem in the form of free groceries, whenever they are charge their credit card for debt at the supermarket. Another offer coming from Kroger along with grocery stores owned by it includes double points on every single purchase made with their credit cards at their stores and thrice the points for items which are store-braded according to another recent report.

It is just pouring as far as the credit card offers are concerned. After the economic downturn, almost all the credit card companies and issuers are offering deals as good as they possibly can to attract credit card customers, especially those who have a very impressive credit rating. The increase in the number of these rewards didn`t impact the popularity of some existing rewards programs like the airline miles. The credit card accounts which offer credit card customers with free miles for every single dollar spent on the credit card debt are especially very popular with the credit card customers with high income and prefer to travel a lot for business. These miles are used by them to upgrade perks and flights. It is advisable for credit card customers to compare various credit card rewards before enrolling for one.
